Day 1: Arrive Egypt

  • Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (around the clock), Nile Holiday representative will meet and assist you through formalities, and then transfer by modern A/C Vehicle to your hotel. At hotel you will assist with a smooth check-in and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo

Day 2: Egyptian Pyramids Tour/ Train to Aswan

  • Check out after breakfast at your hotel, Begin to visit the Pyramids Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus at Giza Plateau. Enjoy fascinating introduction to each of the three pyramids. Whist here, you can visit inside the great pyramid (extra ticket on spot). Proceed with a short drive to visit the Valley temple and the Sphinx.
  • Proceed to the ancient Egyptian capital at Memphis, founded by King Menes (Narmer) almost 3100 BC. Today, there are little left of the ancient capital, but you can explore an open-air museum of antiquities. See the Giant statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx, etc.
  • Continue to Saqqara, the Necropolis of the ancient Egyptian Capital, Memphis. Saqqara, home to the world-famous Step pyramid of King Djoser, The first Egyptian pyramid consisted of six mastabas (of decreasing size), built atop one another in what were clearly revisions and developments of the original plan. Transfer to Giza train station to take your sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner & Breakfast will be served at your train compartment

Day 3: Aswan / Nile Cruise Excursions

  • Upon arrival to Aswan train Station, your will be picked up and transferred to your 5-star deluxe Nile cruise boat. Lunch on board. Continue with your Nile Cruise tours to visit Aswan high dam, an embankment dam built across the Nile River to control the Nile Floods and produce electricity.
  • Continue with a motorboat ride to Philae temple Island, where there are numerous temples were dedicated to various Egyptian gods but the main temple built for the goddess Isis during the Greek times. Philae temples became in danger after the building of the High dam 1960 – 70. UNESCO stepped in and rescue effort was undertaken to relocate the entire temple 20m higher on nearby Agilika Island. Transfer back to your Nile Cruise, overnight in AswanOptional: Abu Simbel temple by A/C Vehicle or Plane is available and can be place on day 4. Day 4: Kom-ombo & Edfu Nile Cruise Tours

  • Breakfast on board, today your Nile Cruise boat will start sailing slowly to the North towards Kom-ombo, visit the unusual double temple dedicated to both the crocodile god Sobek and Haroeris the falcon (Horus the Elder), built during the Greco-Roman period in Egypt between (190 B.C – 219 A.D). You will also visit the newly opened Crocodile Museum, while Crocodile Mummies are displayed
  • Return to your Nile Cruise and sail to Edfu. Upon arrival, enjoy horse & carriage ride to visit the best-preserved temple in Egypt, Horus Temple at Edfu. Which was constructed during the Greek period between 237 – 57 BC. The reliefs that cover the Temple’s walls, columns, and doorways constitute an extremely important source of information about ancient Egyptian Myths and religion. free time on board your Nile Cruise ship.   • After breakfast, start your Nile Cruise tours to visit Karnak temple, walk along the avenue of sphinx, as your guide explains the largest religious Temple ever built in Egypt. Walk the main axes along the great open court into the hypostyle hall, home to 134 columns towering above you head like an ancient forest. Proceed to the sacred lake and the scarab beetle
  • Continue to Luxor Temple located in the city center on the east bank, joined to the temple of Karnak by a three-kilometer long avenue of Sphinxes. The temple of Luxor constructed by the Great Pharaoh Ramses II while the oldest part constructed by Amenhotep III. Back to your Nile Cruise ship. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 6: West Bank & Valley of the Kings Tours

  • Disembarkation after breakfast, today you will visit the Valley of the Kings, the most famous burial ground of the new kingdom pharaohs of ancient Egypt. Whilst here, you can explore famous tombs like Ramses VI, Merenptah, Horemoheb, Tutmosis III and Tutmosis III and other pharaohs tomb, ruled Egypt for a period of nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century B.C. You will visit 3 tombs, you can also visit Tutankhamon & Ramses VI tombs (extra ticket on spot)
  • Proceed to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most famous sights on Luxor west bank. Queen Hatshepsuit is regarded by modern Egyptologists as one of the most successful pharaohs, as she ruled Egypt for almost 20 years. Drive to visit the two colossi of Memnon, the only remains ruins of king Amenhotep III funerary temple. Transfer to your Hotel in Luxor & overnight

Day 7: Luxor / Kharga Oasis

Day 7: Luxor / Kharga Oasis

  • At 07:00am, After breakfast at your hotel in Luxor. Drive by your A/C Vehicle to Kharga oasis (almost 5 hours drive), visiting Dush Temple in Baris Oais and then proceed to Kharga Oasis, spend the first night camping in the Western Desert.

Day 8: Kharga Oasis / Dakhla Oasis

  • Breakfast and then move onto Kharga Oasis to visit the fortress and settlement of Qasr El Labekha – a Roman fortress on the old caravan route and the oasis ethnic museum. Proceed to visit the Temple of Hibis and then Nadora from outside as well as the early Christian cemetery “El Bagawat”, one of the earliest and best preserved Christian cemeteries from the ancient world. Drive on to Dakhla oasis, where we spend the night at an Oasis style hut with reed huts, communal showers and basic facilities. Overnight in Dakhla.

Day 9: Dakhla / Camel ride at the Western Desert

  • After breakfast, we head to the fortified medieval Islamic town of Al Qasr. Explore the mud-brick timeless streets, seeing the old school, the ancient olive press and the granary. Proceed with a fabulous trip to the Roman burial ground of Muzawaka tombs from outside and the Roman Temple at Deir El Hagar in its serene surroundings. We return for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing at hot spring, while waiting for the heat of the day to pass. In the late afternoon we set off on camel ride through a desolate windswept landscape to the base of a great escarpment. 10 km of Camel ride. Overnight camping in the desert

Day 10: Farafra Oasis / White Desert Safari

  • North of Dakhla is Farafra Oasis where we have time to visit Badr Museum and enjoy a swim at the natural sulphur spring at Bir Setah. A little further on we enter the White Desert, a spectacular region of wind-eroded limestone formations. The continual erosion has left a layer of fine white dust on the desert sands, hence the name ‘white desert’. We enjoy a sunset walk in this surreal landscape and spend the night camping under the stars. Note it can be very cold in the winter months (Oct.-Mar.) So make sure you are well rugged up if you are travelling at this time. Overnight in a camp sight in the White Desert

Day 11: Bahariya Oasis / Cairo

  • Wake up in the early morning to watch the sunrise over the formation in the white desert. After breakfast, drive to visit the crystal mountain and the black desert in your road to Bahariya oasis. Where you can climb the English Mountain, then transfer to visit the Golden Mummies Museum, tombs of the Nobles, Temple of Alexander, Temple of Ain el-Muftella. After Lunch at local restaurant, transfer from Bahariya to Cairo (about 4 hours drive). Overnight in Cairo

Day 12: Cairo City Sightseeing Tours

  • Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, then start to visit the famous Egyptian museum, houses 120,000 artifacts covering 5,000 years of Egyptian history. Explore the priceless treasures of boy king Tutankhamon, founded the the Valley of the Kings in Luxor in 1922. Enjoy guided tour to the Egyptian museum top artifacts, then you will have time to explore at leisure
  • Proceed to visit Mohamed Ali alabaster Mosque situated on the summit of the Citadel of Saladin. The mosque commissioned by Muhammad Ali Pasha and the largest to be built in the first half of the 19th century between 1830 and 1848.
  • Drive to visit old Cairo, well known as Coptic Cairo,which has the largest number of Christian churches in Egypt. You will visit the Hanging church, Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Then, move on to visit Cairo’s oldest and most famous Khan el Khalili bazaar. Enjoy rooming around in the alleys of the Souk, get in the local atmosphere of Cairo before transfer to your hotel, Overnight in Cairo
