Day 1: Arrive Cairo

  • Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (around the clock). Nile Holiday representative will meet and assist you through the formalities and then transfer to your hotel. At Hotel, you will assist with smooth check in and confirm pick up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo

Day 2: Cairo Pyramids Tour

Day 2: Cairo Pyramids Tour

  • Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo. And then, your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up to visit the Giza pyramids of Cheops, Khafre and Menkaure. Whilst here, you can visit inside the Great pyramid or the solar boat museum (additional cost on spot). Drive to visit the Valley temple of Chephren, and the Sphinx
  • Drive to Memphis, located 20 km to the south of Giza Pyramids, the city was founded by the pharaoh Menes as the first capital of the unified Egypt 3100 BC. It is now an open-air museum, you will see the Colossus of Ramses II, The alabaster Sphinx and more. And then, move on to visit the step pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, which is the largest ancient burial ground in Egypt. Sakkara served as the necropolis for the ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis. Overnight in Cairo

Day 3: Cairo City Tours

Day 3: Cairo City Tours

  • After breakfast at your hotel, you will start to visit the Egyptian Museum, houses 120 thousands of the ancient Egyptian artifacts. Also, you will explore the priceless funerary collections of the young pharaoh Tutankhamun, discovered in his nearly intact tomb the Valley of the Kings in Luxor. See the museum masterpieces and then free time to wander around at leisure. Whilst here, you can visit the royal mummy room (Extra ticket on Spot).
  • Drive to visit the alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha, located in the Citadel of Cairo. There is also a brass clock tower, presented to Muhammad Ali by King Louis Philippe of France in 1845. The clock was reciprocated with the obelisk that now standing in la place de la Concorde in Paris
  • Continue to old Cairo and visit the Hanging church, the saint Sergius and Bacchus church and Ben Ezra synagogue all were built around the Babylon fort. Move on to Islamic Cairo to see Cairo’s old bazaar of Khan El Khalili. And then, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo

Day 4: Fly Cairo to Aswan & Excursions

Day 4: Fly Cairo to Aswan & Excursions

  • Early morning, you will be transferred to Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan. Meet and Assist upon arrival and start to visit Aswan high dam, an artificial rock-fill dam built across the Nile river to control the Nile Floods and produce electricity.
  • Proceed to visit Philae Temple Island, which has Monuments of various eras, ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman. But the ancient and the best preserved is the temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis, built during the reign of Nectanebo I, 380-362 BC.
  • Continue to visit the unfinished obelisk, which was ordered by Queen Hatshepsut and abandoned because of the cracks appeared in the rock. The obelisk is forming principale source of the stone working techniques in ancient Egypt. And then, transfer to your hotel in Aswan, free time. Overnight in Aswan

Day 5: Optional: Abu Simbel

  • Breakfast at your hotel in Aswan, then transfer to your Nile Cruise, check in for 3 Nights Nile Cruise to Luxor and free time on board in Aswan. OR join us in an optional tour (Additional cost) to enjoy one of Egypt’s top tourist attractions in Egypt, Abu Simbel temple, which was originally carved out of the mountain side, during the reign of Ramses II (1290 – 1223 BC). Overnight in Aswan

Day 6: Kom ombo & Edfu temple Tours

Day 6: Kom ombo & Edfu temple Tours

  • Breakfast on board, today you will slowly sail down stream towards Kom-ombo temple, located on a high hill on the Nile side. The Greco-Roman temple dedicated to both deities Sobek and Horus, you will also see the nearby Crocodile museum. Return back to the Cruise and continue sailing to Edfu. On arrival, you will visit the best preserved temple in Egypt which dedicated to the Falcon head god Horus. Return to your Nile cruise, and sail to Luxor, enjoy free time on board and afternoon tea on the Cruise sundeck

Day 7: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours

  • Breakfast on board, you will visit the west bank of Luxor. Where there are 64 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, constructed for the Pharaohs and powerful nobles. See 3 well decorated tombs of the new Kingdom pharaohs tombs. Whilst here, you can visit the tomb of the young pharaoh Tutankhamon and Ramses VI (Extra ticket on spot)
  • Proceed to visit the nearby temple of Queen Hatshepsut at al Deir el Bahari, it is one of the most visited sight in Luxor west bank. Built by Queen hatshepsuit, the longest reigned female pharaoh over Egypt for almost 22 years. Move on to see the two Colossi of Memnon, these giant quartzite sandstone statues front the ruins of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III (1386 to 1349 BC). Transfer to your Nile cruise, Lunch on board & free time at leisure. Overnight in Luxor
