  • Welcome to Marsa alam, Egypt (around the clock). You will be met, assist by Nile Holiday Representative and transfer to your Resort. Assist with smooth check in and confirm pick up time for each tour

  • Free days in Marsa alam or choose optional excursions on offer; include snorkeling and scuba-diving trips, sport fishing, as well as desert quad bikes, camel trips and night life. Hotel in Marsa alam

Day 8: Transfer to Luxor / Nile Cruise Trips

Day 8: Transfer to Luxor / Nile Cruise Trips

  • After breakfast at your Marsa alam resort, you will be transferred to Luxor (5-6 hours drive). Assist with smooth check in for 8 days 7 nights Nile Cruise
  • Enjoy Lunch on your Nile Cruise, then your tour guide in Luxor will accompany you to visit Karnak temple, the largest religious temple ever built in Egypt. Enjoy walking along the avenue of Sphinxes while your guide tells you about how the great pylon and the Hypostyle hall at karnak where constructed. See the obelisks of Tutmosis, Queen Hatshipsuit and the sacred lake of Amon
  • Continue to visit Luxor temple located in the city center. the temple of Luxor entrance located at the other end of the Sphinx avenue that extended to Karnak. The temple front is the work of Ramses II while the rear part built by Amenhotep III and continue in use till modern times. Overnight in Luxor

Day 9: West Bank Nile Cruise Trips/ Sail to Edfu

  • Breakfast on board, and then start to visit the Valley of the Kings, visit 3 tombs of the most famous Pharaohs ruled Egypt for a period of nearly 500 years (1550 – 1080 B.C). Whilst here, you can visit the tombs of Tutankhamon and Ramses VI (extra tickets on spot).
  • Proceed to visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the mortuary temple is dedicated to the sun god Amon-Ra and built by the first female pharaoh ruled over Egypt. In your way back to your Nile Cruise, you will have a short photo stop at the colossi of Memnon, two massive quartzite sandstone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Lunch & free time on your Nile Cruise, sail to Edfu via Esna. Enjoy your afternoon tea on the Boat sun deck. Overnight in Edfu

Day 10: Edfu & Kom-ombo Nile Cruise Trips

  • After breakfast on your Cruise, enjoy horse & carriage ride to visit Horus Temple at Edfu, the best preserved temple in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. The Temple was built during the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BC. The inscriptions on the Temple walls provide important information on language, myth and religion during the Greco-Roman period in ancient Egypt.
  • Return to your Nile cruise and sail for almost 6 hours to reach the Greco-Roman Kom ombo temple, located on the east bank of the Nile. On arrival, you will visit the unusual double temple dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile and Horus, the falcon. and then explore the Crocodile Museum before heading back to your Nile Cruise, sail to Aswan & overnight

Day 11: Aswan Nile Cruise Trips

  • Breakfast on your Nile Cruise, and then your will start to visit Aswan red granite quarry where the unfinished obelisk still partly attached to the parent rock. A crack appeared in the rock at a late stage in the process, which caused it to be abandoned. The unfinished obelisk gives an excellent idea of the mason work in ancient Egypt
  • Proceed to visit Aswan high dam, it is an embankment dam yields enormous benefits to Egypt’s economy. For the first time in history the annual Nile flood can be controlled by man. Your tour guide will tell you the importance of the high dam in Egypt
  • Continue with a motorboat ride to visit Philae Temple Island. the island was dedicated to the goddess Isis, other small temples or shrines dedicated to Egyptian deities include the temple of Hathor, temple of Imhotep, the small temple of Horus. The Temple of Isis continued to flourish during Roman times and was not closed until the reign of Justinian I (527–565 AD).
  • After lunch on your Cruise ship, enjoy a relaxing felucca ride on the Nile and let your hand glide along the Nile’s surface as you bathe in the warm Egyptian sun

Day 12: Extra Tour: Abu Simbel Temple

  • Breakfast aboard the Cruise, a free day to explore Aswan and it’s lively city at leisure or alternatively join the extra excursion to visit Abu Simbel to see the great temple of Ramses II. Which for many will be the highlight of the Nile Cruise. This popular excursion is available by coach or by air. In the afternoon an optional bird watching excursion and a visit to a Nubian Village of Gharb Soheil can be arranged. Overnight in Aswan

  • Today you will enjoy a quieter day sailing sloley dawnstrean to Luxor. During this pleasant journey you can choose to take a dip in the pool, catch up on some reading or simply enjoy the view before arriving late evening in Luxor & Overnight
