  • Check out after breakfast, then you will be transferred to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, your representative will meet & assist, then transfer to your Nile Cruise, you will check-in for 8 days / 7 nights

  • Breakfast on Board and then, your Egyptologist tour guide in Luxor will pick you up and start your tour to visit the Theban Necropolis on the west bank of Luxor. Arrive at the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of the kings of Thebes for almost 500 years from 1550 till 1070 BC. You will visit 3 tombs of the most famous pharaohs of Egypt’s new kingdom.
  • Proceed to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built at the bottom of al Qurna mountain cliff at Deir el Bahari, the temple has a unique design by the three terraces with two ascending ramps in the middle. Move on to see the two colossi of Memnon, the only remains of the Funerary temple of Amonhotep III, stop for a fantastic photos and then return to your Cruise ship. Sailing to Edfu Via Esna

  • Breakfast on board, then enjoy horse & carriage ride to visit the best preserved in Egypt, the Temple of Horus at Edfu. Constructed between 237 BC and 57 BC during the Ptolemaic period in Egypt, upon the remains of earlier temples dates to the New Kingdom time of Tuthmosis III (1479–1425 BC).
  • Continue sailing to Kom ombo, late afternoon you will visit Kom ombo temple. The unusual Greco-Roman double temple dedicated to both the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. And then visit the crocodile museum in the temple vicinity. Sailing and overnight in Aswan

  • Enjoy your Breakfast, then start to visit the unfinished obelisk, ordered by Queen Hatshepsut (1490–1468 BC), The obelisk was cracked and the project was abandoned but still give an excellent idea about the mason-work in ancient Egypt
  • Proceed to visit Aswan high dam, an embankment dam built across the River Nile at Aswan, between 1960 and 1970. The high dam protected Egypt from the Nile drought, high floods, and helped to produce electricity.
  • Enjoy a fantastic motorboat ride to discover Philae Temple Island. The Island encompasses monuments of various eras, extending from the Pharaohs to the Roman Emperor, Trajan (53 – 117 AD). The Whole Island Temples were transported to Agilika Island in between 1972 – 1980 by UNESCO to save it from the rising water of the Nile. The largest and best preserved is the Temple of Isis attracted pilgrims for thousands of years and was one of the last pagan temples to operate, after the arrival of Christianity.
  • Late afternoon, enjoy the tranquility of a Felucca ride on the Nile, relax and let your hand glide along the Nile’s surface as you bathe in the warm Egyptian sun. Overnight in Aswan

Day 12: Optional: Abu Simbel / Nubian Village

  • Breakfast aboard your Cruise ship, a free day to explore Aswan and its lively at leisure or alternatively join the optional excursion to Abu Simbel to see the four colossal statues of Ramses II, which for many will be the highlight of Egypt Journey. This popular excursion is available by coach or by air flight. Or an optional to the Nubian Village can be arranged. Overnight in Aswan

Day 13: Sail downstream to Luxor

  • Today you will enjoy a quieter day sailing downstream along the Nile River. During this pleasant journey you can choose to take a dip in the pool, catch up on some reading or simply enjoy the view before arriving late evening in Luxor & Overnight

  • Enjoy your Breakfast on board, then start to visit Karnak temple, the religious center during the New Kingdom (1550 – 1070 BC), dedicated to the sun deity Amon-Ra (Amun-Re). Karnak consists of massive pillars, towering columns, avenues of sphinxes, remarkable obelisks and The Great Hypostyle Hall, one of the largest single chambers ever built, covers an area of nearly 6,000 square meters
  • Continue to Luxor temple, once joined to the Karnak temple by a three-kilometer long avenue of sphinx, a portion of which still mark the entrance to Luxor temple. The temple has been in almost continuous use as a place of worship right up to the present day. The Temple’s hall was converted into a Christian church, and Part of the open court turned to be a mosque called Abu al-Hajjaj mosque. Overnight in Luxor
