Day 1: Arrival Cairo

Day 1: Arrival Cairo

  • Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (around the clock). On arrival at Cairo airport, your representative will meet and assist you throught formalities and transfer to your hotel. Check-in and overnight in Cairo

Day 2: Egypt Pyramids Tour

Day 2: Egypt Pyramids Tour

  • Breakfast at your Cairo hotel, and then start to discover Egypt pyramids. visit the great pyramid of Cheops, one of the seven wonders of the anciant world and also Chephren and Menkaure pyramids at Giza plateau. Whilst here, you have the chance to visit inside the great Pyramid (Extra cost on spot). take perfect photos from the pyramids Panorama view and then drive to visit the Valley temple and the sphinx
  • Proceed to Memphis the first capital of the unified Egypt, founded by Menes almost 3100 BC. Today there are little left in the oldest city but still can see an open air museum of antiquities, see the statue of Ramses II, the Alabaster sphinx and more
  • Continue to discover Saqqara, the Necropolis of ancient Memphis and home to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. The architect Imhotep designed a new form of burial structure in the form of a step pyramid in six stages. Overnight in Cairo

Day 3: Alexandria tour

Day 3: Alexandria tour

  • After breakfast, drive for almost 3 hours to the Mediterranean city of Alexandria, founded by Alexander the great in 332 B.C. On arrival, discover the catacombs of Kom El-Shuqqafa. It is a necropolis of 3 sub-levels dating from the 2nd century AD. It merges Egyptian, Greek, and Roman culture in its features. Then, proceed to visit Pompey’s pillar in the Serapeum, a Temple dedicated to the Greco-Egyptian deity Serapis
  • Move on to see the Roman amphitheater, a well preserved marble theater that once seated 800 spectators. Once, it was surrounded by the Roman baths and villas with galleries, sections of mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden
  • Continue to visit Alexandria library, it is a striking piece of modern design that stands in contrast to the ancient architecture found throughout Egypt. You will have free time to enter the library (extra cost) though local guide will show you the library inside
  • Moreover, you will see the 15th-century defensive Qaitbay fort, located on the Mediterranean sea coast, built on the site of the ancient Pharos lighthouse. And then back to your hotel in Cairo & Overnight

Day 4: Cairo City Tours

  • Breakfast at your hotel, today you will discover the Egyptian Museum, housing the world most priceless artifacts, founded by the French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette in the 19th century. Discover the treasures of the young King Tutankhamon, including the solid-gold mask and other treasures include jewelry, ornaments of all kinds and other objects.
  • Explore Mohamed Ali alabaster Mosque in the citadel of Saladin. The mosque was built on the summit of Saladin Citadel in Cairo between 1830 and 1848. drive to visit old Cairo to see the famous Hanging Church, St. Sergius and Bacchus Church and Ben Ezra Synagouge. Move on to discover Islamic Cairo and walk along the most famous street in Cairo, the oldest souk of Khan El-Khailili. Then, return to you hotel & overnight

Day 5: Fly Cairo to Luxor / East Bank Tours

Day 5: Fly Cairo to Luxor / East Bank Tours

  • Check out after breakfast, and then transfer to Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Luxor. On arrival, meet, assist and transfer to your hotel in Luxor. And then start to visit the Temple of Karnak, the largest religious temple ever built in Egypt, dedicated to the Theban triad of gods, with Amon-Re on its top and his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. Walk along the avenue of Sphinxes and the great hall of 134 columns, obelisks and the sacred lake
  • Discover the Temple of Luxor located on the city side, the temple was linked to Karnak by an almost 3km long avenue of Sphinxes. While the temple entrance was built by Ramses II and the rear part built by Amenhotep III, the temple was continue in use during the Pharaonic, Greek and Roman times and part of it turned to be Church another part have a Mosque which still in use upright now

Day 6: West Bank Excursions

Day 6: West Bank Excursions

  • Check out after breakfast, and then visit the west bank of the Nile. Discover the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs, ruled for almost 500 years between 1550 – 1080 BC. You will visit 3 tombs of the most famous pharaohs. Whilst here, you can visit the tomb of Tutankhamon and Ramses VI (Extra ticket on spot)
  • Move on to visit Queen Hatshepsut Temple at Deir el Bahari. Hatshepsuit was the first female pharaoh ruled Egypt for 22 years. She built here funerary temple on the west bank of Luxor opposite to Karnak temple. The Temple is unique in its design with the three terraces above each other, built by the Queen architect Senenmut
  • Enjoy a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the only remains of the funerary temple of Amonhotep III. Check in your Luxor Nile Cruise to Aswan for 5 days 4 nights, Lunch on board & Free time in Luxor

  • Breakfast, today you will enjoy a quieter day sailing Up-stream along the Nile Valley on your Nile Cruise to Aswan. During this pleasant journey you can choose to take an extra activity or be happy with a dip in the pool, catch up on some reading or simply enjoy the Nile Valley view before arriving late evening in Edfu & Overnight

Day 8: Edfu & Kom ombo temple

  • After breakfast on your Nile Cruise, and then enjoy horse & Carriage ride to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, considered the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt. The Temple was built during the Greek Period in Egypt between 237 – 57 BC. And dedicated to Horus the falcon, his consort Hathor and their son Ihy
  • Continue sailing the Nile Valley to Kom ombo, Lunch on board. On arrival, you will visit the unusual double temple dedicated to both Horus and Sobek. Kom omo temple built on the east bank of the Nile during the Greco-Roman times between 180 BC and 219 Ad. whilst here you can visit the crocodile Museum at Kom ombo and then back to your Nile Cruise and continue sailing to Aswan.

Day 9: Abu Simbel Temple

Day 9: Abu Simbel Temple

  • In the early morning, start your trip to Abu Simbel by ac vehicle, drive for almost 03 hours to reach Abu Simbel temples. On arrival, your tour guide will show you the world renowned site, where Ramses II (1290-1223 B.C.) ordered two sun temples carved from the limestone mountains. start at the great temple, dedicated to Amon-Re and Ra-Harakhte, where the four famous colossal statues of Ramses II sit majestically over 20 meters high. And then, you will see the nearby small temple, dedicated to the cow-headed goddess Hathor and built in honor of Ramses II’s favorite wife Queen Nefertari. Then back to your Nile Cruise in Aswan

Day 10: Aswan Tours & Nubian Village

Day 10: Aswan Tours & Nubian Village

  • Disembarkation after breakfast, then start your tour in Aswan at the unfinished obelisk, located in Aswan granite quarry. The Unfinished obelisk gives an excellent idea about the mason work techniques in ancient Egypt
  • Proceed to visit the High Dam, a rock fill dam built across the Nile in Aswan to control the Nile floods and produce electricity between 1960-70. And then enjoy a motor boat ride to Philae temple Island, where there are complex of temples saved between 1972 – 1980. There are temples dates to different periods from Pharaonic to Greco-Romans but the largest is the temple of the Goddess Isis and Philae
  • After Lunch, enjoy felucca ride on the Nile River in Aswan for almost 1 hour and then leave the felucca to the Botanical garden, explore different kind of exotic trees. And then, your Motor boat is waiting for you journey to the Nubian Village. Enjoy some fantastic scenes along the Nile Valley that have not changed in millennia as the donkeys, Cows, water buffalo, camels, and a wide variety of birds which is great for birds watchers to see
  • Enjoy a cup of tea, Egyptian tea ( Hibiscus tea or Karkade). walk through the Nubian Village streets & market. See the handmade cotton scarves, different spices & herbs. Overnight in Aswan
