  • Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (around the clock). Nile Holiday representative will meet & assist you through the formalities. And then transfer to your hotel. At hotel, you will assist with a smooth check-in and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo

Day 2: Egypt Pyramid tours

Day 2: Egypt Pyramid tours

  • After breakfast at your hotel, your Egyptologist tour guide will accompany you to visit the Pyramids of Cheops Chephren and Mycerinus at Giza plateau. Enjoy a fascinating introduction to the pyramids. whilst here, you can go inside the great pyramid or the solar boat museum (extra ticket). Proceed to visit the Valley Temple of Chephren and the great Sphinx.
  • Drive to visit the ancient city of Memphis, capital of the Old Kingdom (c.3100–c.2258 BC). Which was founded by Menes, the first king of united Egypt. Now, you can see an open air museum with the colossus statue of Ramses II, the Sphinx are among the most important monuments displayed
  • Continue to Sakkara, the favorite burial place for the pharaohs of the Old Kingdom. A line of pyramids begins near the necropolis, the first and the most famous is the step-pyramid of king Zoser, built in the III dynasty. While there are many other pyramids that date from the V and VI dynasties. overnight in Cairo

Day 3: Cairo City Tours

  • Enjoy breakafst at your hotel, then your expert tour guide will pick you up to visit the famous Egyptian Museum of antiquities, houses 120.000 ancient Egyptian artifacts. You can also explore the priceless treasures of King Tutankhamon that founded in the valley of the kings in Luxor 1922. Whist here, you can visit the royal mummy room (extra ticket on spot) and free time to explore at your leisure
  • Continue to visit Muhammad Ali Mosque at the citadel dominates the Cairo skyline. The mosque built of local Muqattam limestone, with columns and sheathing of alabaster (a stone softer than marble, used mainly for vases and other small objects). Muhammad Ali is buried beneath a marble monument in his Mosque
  • Continue to visit Coptic Cairo where you can see the largest collection of Christain churches, the most famous are the Hanging Church and St. Sergius Church as well as Ben Ezra synaguge. Then drive to Islamic Cairo to visit Cairo’s oldest market of Khan el Khalili. Overnight in Cairo

Day 4: Fly Cairo to Luxor / East Bank Tour

Day 4: Fly Cairo to Luxor / East Bank Tour

  • Early moning, you will be transferred to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, meet and transfer to visit Karnak Temple, the largest religious temple in Egypt, dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun the oficial deity of the ancient city of Thebes, his consort Mut and their son Khonsu. Then, drive to visit Luxor temple, located on the east bank of the Nile. Once was joined to the temple of Karnak by a 3 km long avenue of sphinx. And then, transfer your hotel, overnight in Luxor

Day 5: Luxor West Bank Tours / Dahabiya

Day 5: Luxor West Bank Tours / Dahabiya

  • After breakfast and check out, your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up to visit the west bank of the Nile River in Luxor. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the burial site of almost all the pharaohs of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties of ancient Egypt ruled between 1550–1080 BC. Whilst here, you can visit the tomb of the young Pharaoh Tutankhamon, Ramses VI or Seti 1 tombs (extra ticket on spot)
  • Proceed to visit the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahri. Hatshepsut was an Egyptian Queen of the 18th Dynasty, usurping the throne after her husband’s death. She held effective power for almost 22 years (1490-1468 BC.). the mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut is a colonnaded structure reached by long ramps and is largely considered to be one of the incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt
  • Drive to see the two colossi of Memnon of king Amenhotep III. The Pharaoh was a patron of the arts, and during his reign magnificent buildings and sculptures were created. And then, you will be transferred to your Dahabiya Nile cruise at Esna. Lunch on board while sailing and overnight at El Hegz Island

Day 6: Dahabiya / Edfu Tour

  • Today, enjoy breakfast while sailing to Edfu. Upon arrival, you will enjoy Horse & Carriage ride to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu. The temple is the best preserved of all Egyptian temples dedicated to the Triad or Horus, his consort Hathor and their son Ihy. And then, you will return to your Dahabiya and set sail to a small island “El Fouza” where the boat will moor for the night. Dinner will be served on the edge of the Nile

Day 7: Dahabiya / Gebel el Silsila Tour

Day 7: Dahabiya / Gebel el Silsila Tour

  • Breakfast on board while set off for relaxing journey to discover Gebel El Silsila. You will visit the temple of Horemheb and the ancient stone quarry. The area was used as a major quarry site on both sides of the Nile from the 18th Dynasty of ancient Egypt to Greco-Roman times. If possible dinner will be served in the grounds of the illuminated temple or on the top deck of the Dahabiya. While soaking up the tranquil atmosphere with music to match the mood. Overnight at Gebel el silsila

Day 8: Dahabiya / Kom-ombo Temple

Day 8: Dahabiya / Kom-ombo Temple

  • Breakfast on board, enjoy ravishing sail to the imposing Greco-Roman temple of Kom ombo. The only double temple built for two gods, the Falcon Horus & Sobek the crocodile, it is atypical because everything is perfectly symmetrical along the main axis. And then, set sail towards Aswan, where the Dahabiya will moor close to Aswan for the night

Day 9: Dahabiya /Aswan Tours

  • After breakfast, start to visit the unfinished obelisk in Aswan granite stone quarry, where most of the obelisks were cut. Then drive to see Aswan high dam, a rock-fill dam built across the Nile River in Aswan between 1960-1970. Drive to visit Philae Temple Island, the main temple was dedicated to the goddess Isis, mother of Horus and wife of Osiris. Enjoy a walking tour through the temple and then enjoy free time to explore at leisure, back to your dahabiya, Lunch on board, free time at leisure. Overnight in Aswan
