  • Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (around the clock). On arrival, your Nile Holiday representative will meet and assist you throught formalities and transfer to your hotel. Assit with smooth check in, review your holiday tour itinerary and confirm pick up time for each tour. Overnight in Cairo

Day 2: Pyramids Excursions

Day 2: Pyramids Excursions

  • Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, and then travel to visit the pyramids of Giza. Enjoy a fantastic introduction to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus at Giza plateau. Free time to visit the great pyramids (Extra ticket on spot). Drive to visit the Valley temple of King Chephren and the great Sphinx.
  • Drive south to Memphis the capital of the old kingdom of ancient Egypt. While very little remains of the original city. Memphis now enjoys an open air museum visited by millions of tourists every year. Continue to visit Saqqara to visit one of the most important archaeological attractions in Egypt, the Step pyramid of King Djoser. Dates back to 2700 BC. The step Pyramid is one of the oldest stone structures in the world. Overnight in Cairo

Day 3: Cairo City Excursions

Day 3: Cairo City Excursions

  • After breakfast, start to visit the Egyptian Museum. This wonderful architectural houses some 120,000 ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the priceless treasures of the young King Tutankhamen. Your tour guide in Cairo will show you the masterpieces on display and then enjoy free time to explore the museum at leisure
  • Proceed to visit Muhammad Ali alabaster Mosque which was built between 1828 and 1848, perched on the summit of the citadel of Saladin will known by the name “The Citadel of the Mountain”. One of the major military architecture work of the middle ages, dominates the city of Cairo
  • Continue to visit the oldest part of Cairo well known as Coptic Cairo where there is concentration of Christian churches built above the old Babylon Fort. See the famous Hanging Church, the Greek Church of St. George and many other Coptic churches and historical sites. Move on to Islamic Cairo and stroll through the oldest souk of Khan El-Khailili. Day 4: Fly Cairo to Aswan/ Cruise Excursions

Day 4: Fly Cairo to Aswan/ Cruise Excursions

  • Check out after breakfast, and then transfer to Cairo airport to get your flight to Luxor. On arrival, meet your representative and tour Guide, Then start to visit Aswan high dam, a rock-fill dam built across the River Nile in Aswan between 1960 -70 to control the floods and produce electricity.
  • Continue with a motor boat ride to Philae temple Island, the ruins dates back to the Pharaonic, Greek and Roman times. While the best preserved is the temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis dates back to the Greek period in Egypt. After finished, transfer to your Nile Cruise, check in for 4 days 3 Nights
  • Lunch on board, then enjoy felucca ride on the traditional Egyptian sailboat “Felucca” in an authentic sailing adventure. weather permits! Overnight in Aswan
    Note: Optional: The temple of Abu Simbel tour by Car or plane is available and can be placed on Day 4 or 5 in the early morning. As some of the Nile Cruises start sailing to Luxor after the guests return from Abu Simbel Tour. (Sail after 14:00h)

  • Breakfast on board, today you will start slowly sail downstream towards Kom-ombo, to visit the unusual double temple dedicated to both the Crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris. The temple is atypical because everything is perfectly symmetrical along the main axis. Walk out to see the Crocodile Museum where hundreds of Crocodile mummies are displayed
  • Continue sailing to the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the falcon god Horus, built in the Ptolemaic period between 237 – 57 BC. The inscriptions on the temple walls provide important information on language, myth and religion during the Greco-Roman period in ancient Egypt.

Day 6: Luxor west Bank Cruise Excursions

  • Breakfast on your Nile Cruise, and then start to visit the west bank of the Nile in Luxor. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of the ancient Kings of Egypt for almost 500 years between 1550 – 1080 BC. Whilst here, you can enjoy visiting the Boy Pharaoh Tutankhamon and Ramses VI tombs “extra tickets on spot”. Continue to visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the first female pharaoh who ruled Egypt for almost 22 years. The temple is unique in its design and the most visited temple in Luxor west bank. And then drive to see the Colossi of Memnon, the only remains of the funerary temple of Amenhoptep III, transfer back to the Nile Cruise, Lunch on board

  • Disembarkation after breakfast, then start to visit the temples of Karnak, the largest cult temple ever built in Egypt, covers almost 125 hectares on antiquities that narrates the history of Egypt for almost two thousand years. Admire the avanue of Sphinxes, the great pylon, the greatest Hypostyle hall with 134 columns, the obelisks, the sacred lake and more. Continue to visit Luxor temple extend on the other end of the avenue of Sphixes to Karnak temple. The temple was in continues use since the Pharaonic times till modern time.
